WHEN & WHERE?
We normally start at 10:30am @ Mayfield School, with freshly brewed coffee, refreshments and cakes/doughnuts. We do this to give everyone a warm welcome. We then worship together by singing a variety of worship songs, led by a band. Words will be projected onto a large screen at the front. Members of the congregation will often pray out loud, read the Bible and share what God is telling them during our worship time. We believe that God speaks to people today and we want to give ourselves opportunities to hear him. This is then followed by a talk from the Bible.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
Put simply, nothing. You are under no obligation to stand up, sit, kneel, sing, pray, even if other people are doing so. If you wish to just sit quietly that is perfectly Ok. You don't have to dress in your Sunday best, and if you don't have a Bible, that's OK too. Just come as you are.
WHAT ABOUT KIDS & YOUTH?
After three songs our kids session begins. We have a dedicated kids team for ages 4-11yrs, who will provide a fun and safe environment for your children. All our leaders are CRB checked and follow a strict safe guarding policy which is overseen by the church trustees. We have a creche area at the front and a breakout space should you need to use it. We also provide a supervised creche play area during the preach.
Our youth group meet once a fortnight on a Sunday morning and is for the ages of 11+. The youth also meet for socials together at different times.
